Rebecca runs Rebecca Gittins Psychology which operated from ONE HEALTH - Health Centre
Rebecca is a registered psychologist who enjoys working with adults and children to improve their health and wellbeing.
Rebecca often works with people experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, post-natal depression, adjustment issues, social/relational difficulties, sleep problems, and parenting concerns.She uses evidence -based practices such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help people to develop new habits, relationship skills and coping strategies.
Rebecca has been working as a counsellor for many years. Before working in private practice, she worked for non-government services, community health and as a school counsellor.
Rebecca graduated her bachelor and post-graduate studies with Distinction. She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society and holds current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner’s Regulation Agency (AHPRA). ABN: 23986261923
Rebecca can see privately paying clients and has a medicare provider number allowing eligible clients to receive medicare rebates.
During the COVID19 health pandemic, Rebecca can see clients through telehealth through either video-link or telephone modalities.
